I'm not sure if this program has been posted yet, but even in the beginning of their career it was already clear they were becoming true artists. I love this sp en this performance of it is my favourite:

Savchenko/Szolkowy 2006 SP Euros:

This competitive performance is "art".
Few have matched it, IMO.

Jeremy Abbott Saint-SaŽns Symphony No. 3 in C minor 2010 US National LP

Yes, it is. You know, Abbott is one of few skaters I even watch when I sometimes don't like the music choice. Sometimes a skater makes the music more likeable by giving an amazing performance. In this case I like the music though.

That Gritchuk/Platov program to me showed for the first time they were (and the OD of that season too for that matter) going in a different direction and were getting new inspiration. From 1997 on their programs became more interesting. Their FD I liked most is their 1998 one, all performances of it.

Skatesindreams, thanks for sharing that link here. I haven't seen that show before. I think I once downloaded that Protopopovs program from fsvids, but didn't watch the entire show. Now is my chance. :)

Krylova/Ovsiannikov came in my mind with their 1999 FD, perhaps better suitable for ex than competitions? I don't know, but I liked it. It was different, especially for their repertoire:

THIS. THIS is superb, amazing, everything you could possibly want in a program:

Daisuke Takahashi 2011 NHK Trophy Short Program (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyPPnIGExtM&feature=youtu.be)

Loved Bowman-so talented, too short a life. Takahashi is fabulous!!

Off topic, but the 'Maria' program reminds me of news on BBC News website. They're re-opening the investigation on the death of Natalie Wood. One of the loveliest females ever. Let's hope they once and for all conclude what really happened and let her soul rest in peace, where ever she may be.

All these people brougth us so much joy, Natalie Wood through her movies and Christopher Bowman with his skating. And so many more we never knew personally but who touched something in our hearts during certain special moments. May they all rest in peace and never be forgotten.

Even her performance included falls and pops, the programs were breath taking! How *genius* David Wilson IS.
