well, imagine if the v/m and d/w FDs were reversed...

either way, i'd love to see them being 1-2 on the podium.

These two are my favourites, though I like D/W almost as much..and I like different things about each team.

I think Die Fledermaus is an excellent choice for D/W..and Marina is right , the costume is perfect for Charlie .

Now..I have to say, Marina must pressure Scott to wear a jacket, or at the very least , a vest ( but a jacket would be better ). There's no use Scott getting that haircut, if the rest of his costume doesn't carry through on the look. He'd be so much more debonaire..;)

I hope Tessa keeps the red dress , but I like the version she wore at practice , with the clear crystal necklace ,much better. It attracts the light and makes her simply glow.

As long as she stays healthy , I know they'll keep honing and tweaking the program between now and Worlds, so I'm not at all worried about the actual skating..:D

Please, no jacket. :P

It hides the lines and actually creates a messy look.

 Well, I didn't mean any old jacket off the rack .... But if Scott hates them, then I think he really needs a vest . Fred was not a " just shirtsleeves " kind of guy.

I think in jacket we could not see his perfect back line ;)
Most guys need t ave some heavy up-body part of costumes for hiding ther not perfect back and choulders lines, but Scott look much better without jacket, IMHO.
I like how he is looking in vest. But he used it so much times, no? And Alex have vest this seasin ;)
Dont know, for me this time all came together with this FD and i hope Tessa will stop to change her dresses, because this dress is perfection! :)

That is the same dress she wore in the free dance.

Nicky Slater knows his stuff as well but he definitely has his moments where it seems something personal comes out. I always imagined he watched things with a sneer

Slater must have been remorseful after the free dance because he speaks very high of Tessa and Scott during their SC gala performance which by the way was beautiful to watch.

 Well, I didn't mean any old jacket off the rack .... But if Scott hates them, then I think he really needs a vest . Fred was not a " just shirtsleeves " kind of guy. Fred often wore shirtsleeves while dancing - with them rolled up.

Scott's attire in the TSN fluff piece - the blue shirt and pants - was more Fred of the MGM era than a white shirt, red tie and black pants. The shirt doesn't have the lines of the era or suggest them, and since he's not wearing a vest to add color, a colored shirt would be good. Perhaps they're waiting until Tessa decides on her own final costume and then Scott will coordinate.

I'm already anticipating the next dress :D:swoon: I wonder if she will wear a new one in romantic Paris. There are still the "balloons black dress" and the "yellow flower dress" left

not sure about the pant outfit maybe it wouldn't match the final part of the program.

In these pics, I don't think Tessa quite pulls off the Audrey/Funny Face look because of her long hair. It would work better with her pulled back/up.

It's not really necessary to be exactly true to a character in every detail.

I would prefer Tessa with her hair down for the FD, or something a little softer.

IMO, the bun she's wearing for the FD is too stereotypical librarian, or school-marmish. :P

When you are going for Audrey look, it is important. Long, flowing hair would be all wrong. :shuffle:
