:sekret: Korea in 6th going into the last rotation. Things are close between Belgium & Brazil for that final spot.

I am thrilled for Canada! They were the team I most wanted to qualify. Are those results final? I would be happy for Brazil because it could do them a lot of good to qualify a full team in the Olympics before they host. Maybe a gymnast or two can make that team who will still be around in 2016 and lead Brazil to a decent finish in front of their home crowd.

Italy, Canada, France and Brazil qualify a full team to the olympics in WAG

many of the brazilian girls are veterans, Hypolito, Dos Santos, Barbosa, it will be hard for them to get to 2016 olympics but they all will have the opportunity to make a final olympic experience in London, so glad they qualified as a team

on a side note, regarding brazilian gymnasts, they have now three spots in menīs gymnastics, as they will keep their two spots earned at the individual event finals, with Hypolito and Zanetti, plus they will be the only nation to also earn a berth based on individual all around qualifying at the test event, so it seems Sasaki will be the all-arounder

Elsa Garcia of Mexico finally gets her mind together and earns a berth for the Olympics, she truly deserved to be an olympian!

Yep, Elsa looked really good today actually. Her bars especially were a hit.

countries ranked 5-8 at the test event qualifies an all-rounder and not based on the all rounder qualification results.this is given to country and they can assign anyone, not Necessarily Sasaki.

The US team will be named at Olympic Trials this year--no selection camps. Apparently it will be announced on live TV as well.

It will be announced at Trials but that doesn't mean Marta wont do plenty of camps leading up to Nationals and Trials. She will just have her mind made up going into Trials with a possible back up plan if someone should bomb or surprise. Also, there will likely be some stipulation that changes can be made so Marta will continue to monitor the athletes and make any changes if she feels the team isn't right.

She's got the 3 alternates. If someone really is hurt, I hope she doesn't hesitate to use them this time.

She will probably only choose a team of 3 and see if they can qualify into finals anyway. One of them may be injured, for good measure.

Wow, not the best first impression of Grishina for me (yes, I should have watched YouTube vids before). Sat down both vaults in finals and the first was "only" a 1.5Y I believe. :( Can Russia keep her off VT lineup if she makes the team?

I am beginning to think Grishina is another Russian junior fade out. It really is a huge surprise that both Komova and Mustafina panned out so well. Russia is infamous for having the best juniors who never amount to anything on the senior level. Is she injured? Is she just burnt out? Maybe she isn't dealing well with the pressure and added difficulty? Growth spurt? There are so many things that can go wrong. Grishina was being counted on for bars, for sure. She isn't needed but when Russia looks at a way to put the US out of reach, it was counting a big bar score from her.
