NO SCRUNCHIES! I don't understand why that trend is 100% over absolutely everywhere except gymnastics. It makes no sense.

Even Ponor, who at 24yo, really ought to know better, had a giant white scrunchie in all champs.

I'm just thankful she's finally wearing a leotard that covers her who-ha.

She only managed to find one the right size by the time of BB final though. Maybe she sliced loads of frabric off the hip of the leotards to make her oversized scrunchies??

 I think you're on to something.

Or maybe she's just slutty. :shuffle:

Didn't Ponor pose for some adult magazine? Or do I have her confused with some other Romanian gymnasts?

When is the next competition or is this the end of the season until next year?

Pan Ams, very soon within the next few days it starts I think?

It means Shawn Johnson and Bridget Sloan :cheer: I'm very very interested to see how both of them look. These 2 are the Wildcards for the 2012 team IMO.

I don't think she actually did (I remember Milo, Corina Ungureanu, and a few others did), but I'm sure just as many men in Romania have seen her breasts. :saint:

I just watched the team competition in its entirety, and I have to say Aly Raisman has really grown on me. I prefer Komova's lines, but Aly is one gritty competitor and her tumbling is HUUUUUUGE. I'm actually hoping she makes the team next year.

what happened to our prediction contest, i am hoping it will be updated soon.
Sorry, I had a bad weekend. The problem is that I completely forgot about possible ties, so I didn't announce a tiebreaker prior to the competition and would rather not change the rules after the competition started. And there were many ties in event finals! While I designed the site, I thought about including other sports, but never thought of ties since they are pretty much non-existent in figure skating. :yikes: And I don't want to start programming again right now only for that reason, it would take me many hours to make the change. ;)

I've just updated the results in multiple ways, but there aren't two identical results with all the different ties!

So, either we're setting up a tiebreaker now, such as the results in qualification, or I'll calculate the results by hand tomorrow evening because I'm just too tired now (sorry!). I'd rather go with the second option, I think it's more fair to everyone. :) We aren't that many anyway.

As long as there is also a men's competition at the Pan Am games I will be happy. After all I do need my eye candy. :hat1:

I'm excited to see Sloan at Pan-Ams. It's been a while! I know she has little shot at the Olympic team at this point, but I just really like her and her gymnastics. She hasn't let Marta break her spirit, and I respect that.

^ ITA about Sloane. :) I've always liked her competitive behavior, she seems like a hard worker and a good sport/teammate.

If Bridget gets an Amanar like she was training and a 15 floor (she has all the passes for it), upgraded bars... She could still be in it. That's going to be very tough but she has the repetoire of skills.

She's out of everybodies predictions, yet she was World All Around Champion only 2 years ago. How many teams would be able to say that?!

I'll be rooting for Bridget, I hope she looks great at Pan Ams!

She really is a great gymnast it's hard to believe how much people forget about her. She is to the US era what Vera Kolesnikova was to the Soviets IMO - beautiful gymnasts but lacking that IT factor that makes her really memorable.
