Berbecar: Pretty good routine. Looked off center on the double tuck, almost hit one of the bars. Did he miss the element where they do the big sweep and land in a straddle the first time? Big step back on dismount.

The Greek routine was pretty good.

Tsolaxidis GRE: very pretty Healy combos, lands right in handstand. Double front pike - never seen that but I'm not a big MAG watcher. Good double back pike dismount with teeny step.

6.5, 9.033 = 15.533 1st place

Feng CHN: Waits forever in handstands. Two double backs in a row (not combo). Feet apart on pirouette to one bar and looked like he was going to fall, but did a straddle kip. Another double back  Sticks dismount but very low chest.

I preferred the Greek.

6.6, 8.6, missed the final score but 3rd

Well Levya's coach/stepdad is annoying.

Levya USA: Very pretty routine and nice body position, but he skirts the line on being overarched and losing it. No releases? Double pike dismount stick.

American men being rowdy in the stands

6.4, 9.233, 15.633 into first

Tanaka has BEAUTIFUL lines and bodyshape.

Tanaka JPN: Three double back elements, overarches a few times, cold stick on the dismount. Not many pirouettes. I'm thinking 3rd but execution might put him over GRE.

15.155 into 5th  very low execution score, 8.3 I think

Cucharat looked cleaner than Leyva through the exercise, but a small hop on the landing.

Cucherat FRA: Most variety and good execution of elements. Love the Jaeger. Hop on dismount.

15.333 3rd, I like that placement

Zhang CHN: Double back, Jaeger, some nice piked elements. Fought so hard for the stick that he almost fell forward on his head and ended up taking a tiny hop.

Uchimura JPN: Overarches on handstand and has to put one hand forward on bar. Crazy amount of releases: two double backs, double pike, some sort of 1/2 turn (Geinger?!) and a straddled something. Nails dismount.

It's amazing that Kohei has upgraded all his EF routines - meaing he was performing his "safest" work in the AA - and look how far he won by.
