While watching the JGP I often wonder how many of these talented young skaters will actually make it in the seniors.
Junior world champs that later won world or Olympic title later at the senior level are not many, when you consider that they too compete every year.
Men:
Yagudin
Plushenko
Kulik (OGM only; no world title)
Takahashi

Michelle Kwan
Irina Slutskaya
Kristi Yamaguchi (she won the pairs but not sure if she won singles as a junior)

You can find the lists of all the medalists here (http://www.isu.org/vsite/vnavsite/page/directory/0,10853,4844-130366-131674-nav-list,00.html)
Then you'd have to search for names in the Gold column of both junior and senior lists.
Kristi Yamaguchi (she won the pairs but not sure if she won singles as a junior)
Yes, she won both the ladies singles and pairs junior world titles in 1988.
Galindo won the men's singles title in 1987, the year before winning pairs.
