View Full Version : This year's SD: Compulsory dance less well integrated?

I watched the SDs in Finlandia with Ritti, who is a ballroom dancer himself, and he commented that there is very little the actual dancing in the SDs. It is an element after an element and the rhumba slows everyhing down in a silly way. Last year I thought that I maybe could grow to like the SD form, but this year I am reallly doubting it. At lest I wish someone will show me a really steamy rhumba.

The problem with the Rhumba CD is that is more based on a Samba than a Rhumba. So it really doesn't work as a Rhumba anyway.

I hate it.
I hate latin SD's. These skaters DO NOT KNOW how to do the CDs properly. It's a waste of time and money.
Get rid of the quality CDs anyway, noone but true die heart fans really care.
This format is RIDICULOUS.
I hate those skaters can NOT do the CDs altogether. They don't get the value of it. They're just doing elements without any ideas of WHY they should or shouldn't do it.
Bad bad bad.
Plus Salsa do SUCK on the ice.
