Komova's acro series is just :swoon: I wish the beam was longer and the code rewarded doing 3 layout stepouts like in the early 90's. Can you imagine how effing gorgeous that would look from her!?

I want Raisman to win floor. I know she has work to do on her presentation but she has improved and her tumbling more than makes up for it, IMO.

ITA.

Raisman's FX is growing on me. The leaps look infinitely better, especially the switch half. I can tell that she's at least trying to address her critics, and I give her mad props for that. Not to mention, her tumbling is in a class of its own right now. Her first two passes are :swoon: and her 3twist is one of the biggest in the world right now.

Japan has all ready gone on VT and the US hasn't been there yet. Scores start evening out as the evening goes on. :shuffle:

Horton hits great routine! Score: 15.366

I rather a gymnast be able to build up a big advantage on bars than on vault since atleast bars is a full routine, and vault in the AA is just one move. The huge gaps gymnasts gain by doing Amanars and the number of Championships decided by that or just as much or more than on bars.

I have noooo idea what's considered good scores on the mens events these days  Except if you don't score 16+ on vault, you're totally missing out. :P

I am taking about direct comparison on rings 60.957 to 59.488, Horton routine brought lead down a bit.

Uchimura apparently hit a great PB set! Should make up for his fall on VT (still not sure what exactly he fell on but he did have a fall there).

After three rotation Kohei is 3rd best japanese athlete... still 3 more rotations to go.

He put his hand down and go out .3 deduction for landing off the centre line.

I think the US, Germany, Great Britain, and may the Russians? are really just fighting for bronze. The US is much improved from last year because they finally have a couple of guys who can swing pommels.

I need to finish my nails right now so I'll just be copying and pasting some scores and stuff for the men's vault and hopefully my nails dry fast! :drama:
