I just saw this, and while I never met him, I think he's going to go down as one of the most influential people of our times.

I'm so sorry for his wife and especially for his kids, who are still pretty young.

:( :fragile:

56 is too young - while all cancers are awful, pancreatic cancer (which is what my dad had) is one of the worst types to get.

Condolences and thoughts for his family, friends, and co-workers. His contributions to technology are the stuff of legend, and he will go down in history as someone who revolutionized the Information Age.

Just saw this. Very sad. :(

I have tears in my eyes as I type this.

He was a great man, and too young to die.

RIP.

All my sympathies to his family, friends and the millions whose lives he touched, through his incredible creativity.
