Heard that she can compete internationally starting in May so she will not be a factor at Four Continents or Worlds. Good for Mel. As talented as she is, and as fun as she is to watch, she was never going to be the leading U.S. lady. She won't have much competition in the Philippines, obviously, but I think she can make a good showing internationally at events like Four Continents. Only good can come for Mel and Philippines.

Oohh, this is fantastic!! I hope we see her at Four Continents and Worlds next year. Of course, Sochi is probably the ultimate goal.

She will be competing in the fall of 2012 :)

Send FSO your questions for Melissa to answer :watch:

The Philippines? Did Azerbaijan turn her down? :P

(j/k, good move, I think this will give her a lot of opportunities).

:cheer: for Melissa!

She soooo deserves this opportunity.

She has too much talent to be stuck getting senior Bs.

Anyone know if she intends to compete until 2014? I'm sure we'll see her at at least one Worlds though, and good for her. :cheer:
