:cheer: Just got tickets for "The Artist," "The Descendants," and "Shame," through Cinema St. Louis. They'll all be screening in the next couple of weeks at their film festival. I wanted to get tickets for "We Need to Talk About Kevin," because I love Tilda Swinton, but it played the same day/almost same time as "Shame," and my lust for Michael Fassbender won out. :shuffle:

They have several more movies I want to see, but I don't expect them to sell out. "Codependant Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same" is my favorite title of all the options. :rollin:

Saw a movie on PPV starring Mira Sorvino called "Attack On Leningrad". Based on the siege of that city but the story itself is factional. An English reporter gets trapped in the city and is befriended by a group of Russians and together they try to survive. The only movie on the subject that I know of and to besides I like Sorvino. Her works are usually very good. Also check out Human Trafficing. A made for tv series also starring Mira Sorvino.

Steven Spielberg is filming "Lincoln" with Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Hal Holbrook, Bruce MacGill, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gloria Reuben, among others, here in downtown Richmond as we speak (or type).

Our office building has a great view of the Virginia Capital Building, where filming has been based for the last few days - with binoculars, many of the male cast members listed above have been spotted, along with SS, during filming breaks.

"Spot the Lincoln Crew" is also quite the new social media game around town, with tweets and other media reports of sightings all around town. Twitter had it that Sally Field dined the other night at a local "new Southern" food restaurant on Broad Street. I hope "M'Lynn" comes over to the tiny Cajun-inspired restaurant where I've been dining lately.

For Marilyn Monroe (and Ksenia Makarova :P ) fans, Some Like It Hot is on TCM tonight at 9:45 EDT.

I can watch this move over and over, and it's always just as funny as it was the first time I saw it  .

I understand that The Muppets are to be a bit more "adult" in this film...can anyone confirm?

A Dangerous Method, Immortals, and Harold & Kumar are top of my list.

I picked Immortals just because I like that kind of thing....I really would like to see Machine Gun Preacher(Gerard Butler) but it was only a limited release here in the US and no where near me.I heard it's been shown more in the UK.

I found a movie with the Title "Largo WInch: The Heir Apparent - 2008" with the same actors. Is this the same movie or an english remake with the same actors?

It has not been released in the U.S.A. until now. According to imdb.com, it's getting a video on demand release the same date as a theatrical release. So I'm guessing it won't play in many theatres. That said, it looks better than some of the major studio releases this month! :D

I saw "One Day" at the cinema on Thursday and I enjoyed it a lot. But then again...I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jim Sturgess :swoon: and he's so brilliant in it.

Finally I decided to watch "A Clockwork Orange" and it makes me feel extremely weird...I can't stop thinking of it.

^I've been trying to summon up the nerve to watch that for a few years now. It's come highly recommended to me and I feel like I *should* watch it, or at least read the book, but I never get up to actually doing it. Plus I love Malcolm McDowell, he was amazing in If... and O Lucky Man.

Have you read the book? It doesn't actually end how the movie ends.
