Well because Ireland beated us. But my language exchange partner is Irish and loves football and rugby. No way I will spend three hours a week talking about football in English and Italian, so I chose rugby

Your language exchange partner sounds like a typical Irish guy. The other option to talk about would be gaelic football or hurling, but that might be a bit of a stretch for all concerned. ;)

They're more head guards than helmets really and they're optional for a bit of protection. Lots of horrific injuries in rugby unfortunately. :yikes:
