Has anyone else seen these photos of Heather Morris from Glee? Apparently there is quite a bit of controversy surrounding them. I'm really interested to see what people think of them.

I don't think they serve a purpose. I could understand if it was to bring attention to a serious problem but it seems like it is just a silly idea for a silly photo shoot. The makeup isn't even that good and the photos themselves almost seem amateur. Probably just a poor decision.

I honestly don't get the point. Maybe if they were better done?

That is my thinking. I think this was probably pitched to her and sounded really interesting, bold, as if it would make a statement, etc. However, I think the execution fell through and now she looks like someone who makes really bad decisions.

Yeah, I feel the same way. There is an amateurishness to them that makes them not offensive to me, but I was curious to see what others thought.

They aren't offensive to me, just cheap and amateur-looking. Why bother?

To me, the offensive part is that for a photo session that's all about bringing awareness to domestic abuse, it sure tries its hardest to make the issue look as trivial and fun and cheeky as possible.

From the quotes, it doesn't sound like it is about bringing awareness to domestic abuse.
