2/3 of the way through and it's beginning to look like a Russian 1-2-3. It's them and one Chinese walker left to battle out the medals.
Hopefully they'll be some :drama: ahead.

Race walking is so :drama: ! Some Ukrainian throwing a strop at cameraman after being disqualified. :watch:

Why is there only one event today?
There's traditionally a rest day at Worlds. Don't know why, but there usually is.

Looks like Kaniskina is on to retain her title and about to break the "Curse of the daily programme cover".

News is that hapless Channel 4 presenter Ortis Deley has been sent home.

^why the hell was he picked in the first place?! I just remember him from god-awful kiddies programmes on BBC. He's not a sports/athletics expert anyway, before you even question his presenting skills.

Yay for Eurosport. Do Brits get Eurosport or is there an exclusive with Channel 4? Thus Eurosport Britain can't show the athletics?

^No we get the athletics on ES too; I just usually prefer the terrestial coverage of sporting events, as usually it is a little more polished. Usually.
I was quite liking the change instead of listening to Edwards Jackson and Lewis for BBC :P

Oral favours :P

I can tolerate Edwards and Lewis and think they're OK at times. Jackson is clueless (which I don't know how is possible given that he was a world champion  ), but pretty. If there was some way to have him on, but not speak...
I miss Steve Cram and the BBC presenters the most. Just goes to show how professional they are. Katherine Merry has been good and Dean Macey OK if a bit talkative. Iwan Thomas I find dreadful.
Michael Johnson is the best analyst because he doesn't beat around the bush.

^I actually like Iwan Thomas. He hasn't aged that well, and I don't enjoy his sleeve tattoo's, but I still find him a bit porny. At the risk of sounding rather snooty, I find Dean Macey's accent really irritating, but he seems likeable. Katherine is cool enough. But yea, it's all about the Johnson. As usual.
