[or more politically correct and more specifically correct since I'm sure a mixed race guy or two has crossed the threshold, "the first person genetically of European origin"]

to officially cover the 100m in less than 10 seconds. But, then, thinking back, "yes, can't think of anyone ... but really, isn't Carl Lewis white?" :P

He also running in the 4X400 relay for South Africa!

If he makes it to the London Olympics, anyone doubt he gets picked to be South Africa's flagbearer in the Opening Ceremony?
