Borchin retains title in 20k walk and Kanaykin silver so it's 1-2 for Russia. Lopez from Colombia gets bronze. Kenya are no longer the only country on the medal table.

Lisa Dobriskey, silver medal 2009, looks likes she's not going to advance in 1500m.

Valerine Adams had the best throw in qualification. Though I'd really like the Belurussians to give her some serious competition. Though still want Adams to win.

Did anyone watch the Women's 1500m Heats? And if so can you tell me what happened to New Zealander Nikki Hamblin?

Sounds about right. 1500m is crazy for that type of thing. I wonder if anyone can at least challenge Usain Bolt.

At 100m? No. Over 1500m then perhaps. ;)

WL ... I wonder what Kirani james can do next heats. Merritt, as rules stands is not eligible for London.
