IAAF Startlists and Results (http://daegu2011.iaaf.org/ResultsByDate.aspx)

Marathon kicks off in 1 hour :rollin: EXCITED.

The next few hours include the Decathlon and the men's 800m heats.

Don;t like this shitty prelim round for the 100m, which is basically for the rejects who don;t have a standard. But, meh....Worlds is here. :cheer:

An hour into the race and Channel 4 still has not gone to an ad break.

Huge group still together with 40 minutes left in the marathon.

3 Kenyans out in front and Cherop trips Kiplagat up at watering station. :yikes:

Kenya 1-2-3. First time that has ever happened in a World Championship marathon.

Steve Hooker out of the pole vault.

So I watched C4 for a while last night and was pretty impressed with the lack of ad breaks and pretty good commentary overall although the main guy was a bit too chatty but nice to hear the insights of Dean Macey and Katherine Merry did a good job I thought on the field events I saw. Who else do they have lined up as specialists?

I can't believe the scheduling of the events, Day1 Women's Marathon and Women's 10,000 m, two long disatnce events on same day. I know very few try that double yet, some i believe have tried, like Paula Radcliff. then there is day 5 with just 20 km walk for women, this event is going to get even less coverage than usual very little it gets.:(

Who else do they have lined up as specialists?

Michael Johnson and Iwan Thomas.

Watching highlights of the opening ceremony and I'm disappointed that this number (http://youtu.be/Xv6qcPoVDXw) isn't getting an outing. :fragile:

Channel 4 are about to do a feature on Oscar Pistorius. Really an inspirational guy, but I don't think he should be competing here. :slinkaway
