Wow she peaked at the right time, this AA competition is going to be really tight! :cheer: Komova and the Wiebs are going to be the 2 stars of this comp I think.

On another note, it was just tweeted by insidegymnastics that Nastia is training with the intention of competing in the 2012 Olympics.

Praise jesus our bars crisis is saved, and helps Alicia's chances of making the team next year a lot better. :) Phew ok getting into this competition just got a little bit easier for me. :)

14.4 for Demy and that was with a big break.

The Russians came to freaking win.

Just realized that since Yuan didn't qualify for AA, none of last year's podium will be in the final.

I'm not sure are bars crisis really be saved. As I mentioned earlier the Russians will have two gymnasts capable of 15.7s on bars, and to be frank Grishina is probably capable of it as well. Two of those gymnasts are already capable of Amanars too.

In a five person team is the US going to be able to have 3 great bars sets like that and 3 Amanars/Rudis? Not to mention the absolute danger of an one event gymnast. Also Nastia's a great bar worker but she's been out of practice for a long time....

Well considering 2/3 of last year's AA podium vaulted their way to surgery, who knows what next year will look like? Komova's Amanar is frightening, she doesn't need it, I wish she would stop.

She would contribute on beam as well I'd imagine, which would call for a VT/UB/FX specialist (maybe Ross, Maroney, or Douglas depending on how they look) gymnast if Alicia makes it as well. Then 2 AAers like Bross and the Wiebs. Fun to think about..... anyways, Worlds! :cheer:

I don't think Komova's Amanar is that bad. She has good form in the air and pretty good technique its not as bad technique wise as Mustafina's or Bross's vaults.

Damnit Ksenia!

She has the most stunning floor, but she won't be making finals with that score. :fragile:

She has had problems with it this week in training so I am afraid she will throw it just to outdo herself. I am still wounded to losing Musty to that stupid vault!

Demy falling apart...
