Now that Nationals is upon us, who would you put on the world team? Multiple choice allowed. Feel free to wait til after day 2 is complete if you'd like...

I chose the first 6. I think Orozco is a lock since he scored over 15 on pommels internationally this season, last night's performance was just a bad outing for him.

In hindsight I think they may leave off someone for Wynn and his awesome rings. Maybe Brooks?

Beyond Levya and Orozco I really do not know about the others.

Leyva, Horton, and Orozco are certain imo.

I think Naddour made a huge case for himself tonight.

Then there's Dalton and Legendre who are strong on the same events. Ideally, you'd only take one, but I suppose there is room for both. But then one of them would have to do pommels in prelims.

Brooks is out of it imo, after his performances over both prelims and finals.

I'm gonna go with Leyva, Horton, Orozco, Dalton, Naddour, and Wynn.

After seeing the competition tonight, I'd have to go with Levya, Horton, Orozco, Brooks, Naddour and Dalton. That would give them a pretty solid team and at least one viable backup on each event, I think.

I think Horton, Orozco, Dalton, and Naddour will make the team for sure. They will choose 2 out of Levya, Legendre, Brooks, and Wynn for the other 2 spots, maybe Brooks and Wynn.

I think (and hope) the team will be Leyva, Horton, Orozco, Dalton, Legendre, Naddour (alternate: Brooks)

Brooks doesn't have the goods on floor and couldn't land his 7.0 vault either day, whereas all of Legendre, Horton, and Dalton succeeded there. Orozco, Horton, Leyva is a good lineup for both PB and HB, so even Brooks's potential contributions there are covered. Maestas was excellent on rings the second day (16.0) but with mediocre pommel sets and a shaky rings set the first day I think that was too little, too late. Naddour adds more for PH then Wynn does for SR judging by the scores at this competition. Plus, having Wynn and Dalton on the team means one has to go up on PH in prelims and the U.S. does not want to have to count that score.

My prelims lineups for Worlds:

(Those not in parenthesis do the event in TF)

FX--Horton, Legendre, Dalton (Leyva, Orozco)
PH--Leyva, Orozco, Naddour (Horton, Legendre)
SR--Dalton, Orozco, Horton (Leyva, Legendre)
VT--Horton, Legendre, Dalton (Leyva, Orozco)
PB--Horton, Orozco, Leyva (Dalton, Naddour)
HB--Horton, Orozco, Leyva (Legendre, Dalton)

This field has a fairly weak rings lineup, yes, but this team has great lineups on FX, VT, PB, and HB, and not to mention the best PH lineup the U.S. has had in years.

 There's no way Levya isn't making the World team...

I am scratching my head to think of any way in which the national champion in all around, parallel bars and high bar would not make the world team.
