Okay, so I signed up. I like it so far, but once you get through the chapters there's not much to do besides make potions.

I was sorted into Slytherin. In real life I'd totally be a Ravenclaw or even Hufflepuff.

Not only do they release too soon, they LAUGH at you. I'll show them. I'm a pureblood. Well, OK, I'll make baseless threats and hope some random Death Eater will back them up, but I'll sneer really, really hard. Or make a potion. I've only broken one cauldron today. :shuffle:

This is why I can't play video games. I'm too invested. I'm trying to sneak playing this at work. Do you know how hard it is to de-gnome while writing a press release?

I've been sorted! I'm a Ravenclaw and my wand is Larch with a phoenix core 13 3/4 inches, hard.

I've collected everything so am trying my hand at potions...how do we get rid of them? Also is there a point to the items in our trunks? Do we use them for anything?

As to items in the trunk, I suppose we will need them at some point down the line. Or you could send some of them as a gift which many of us have been doing. :)

I didn't have as many problems with the Cornish Pixies as I did the swelling solution potion in Snape's class. I really suck at potions. I always seem to be doing some minute thing wrong.

ETA: I got the requisite amount of pixies in the cage and was able to move on. I am now brewing Wizard Viagra Swelling Potion.

I got the 4 pixie's in the cage. Have no idea how people get all 10 in the cage in 50 seconds!

Off to brew. Potions are not my thing. Good thing I picked up more galleons because I see a new cauldron in my future :)

I got all ten on the first try. :P Was lucky though, three of them popped in at the same time. The last one was a pain because it kept hiding down at the bottom and every time I moved my mouse down there the text popped up, so I couldn't see what I was doing.

Excited for more potions!!

And what am I supposed to do with the Swelling Potion? Btw, the second part of preparation requires a bit of care while heating, a very narrow temp range.
