Can we make a separate thread that is just a Pottermore directory of who is who from FSU?

Also, is anyone here HallowEye28603? I got your friend request, I just want to be able to identify you! :)

Post #416 (http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3550620&postcount=416) is the most recent roundup - thanks galaxygirl and shsocu for compiling names.

I didn't realize that your potion failures were announced to the entire common room! :shuffle: I just looked down at our recent activity and saw "so and so failed to brew antidote to common potions"

Yes -- as much as people keep spamming the common room and the Great Hall begging for private messaging, I'm kind of glad it's not there. I'm sure I'd be getting some nasty "STOP DUELING GRYFFINDOR!" messages right about now.

how do you get access to more spells? I only have access to 3 and my highest score was only 114 :( Can't access the full body bind and getting beat with scores over 140....any help appreciated!

You must be missing some spellbooks. You can check this webpage (http://ppottermoreguide.tumblr.com/page/2) that lists all the things you can get from each chapter.

Hufflepuff, but I was also given the choice of Slytherin.

Me! I added everyone on the list the other day.

I've brewed 4 Awakening potions and 3 of everything else, plus I'm winning 4 out of every 5 duels! Practice definitely makes perfect!

I do wish we could get a few more potions and spells to work on. It gets a little boring doing the same thing over and over again. I'm about to randomly start gifting people potions; clean house so I can start again.

Dang it Hufflepuff! Why are we SO far behind in house points? We'll never catch up!

When I finish my taxes and go back on the site, you can challenge me to duels. I'm fairly certain I will suck at it.

Pottermore seems to be down. I'll guess we'll actually have to discuss *gasp* figure skating.

I got sorted into Slytherin! :wuzrobbed I could hardly be *less* Slytherin! I carried on through the whole thing anyway but it really spoiled it for me and I was still sulking about it the next day... So I deleted my account and started again :shuffle: And this time rightly ended up in Ravenclaw. I still answered honestly but clearly got a better set of questions :P I'm MidnightLumos7556. Wand is Vine and Dragon, Twelve and Three Quarter inches, Unyielding. I like the description for vine wands very much:

The druids considered anything with a woody stem as a tree, and vine makes wands of such a special nature that I have been happy to continue their ancient tradition. Vine wands are among the less common types, and I have been intrigued to notice that their owners are nearly always those witches or wizards who seek a greater purpose, who have a vision beyond the ordinary and who frequently astound those who think they know them best. Vine wands seem strongly attracted by personalities with hidden depths, and I have found them more sensitive than any other when it comes to instantly detecting a prospective match. Reliable sources claim that these wands can emit magical effects upon the mere entrance into their room of a suitable owner, and I have twice observed the phenomenon in my own shop.

I'm absolutely terrible at potions, and have no patience for it. Sometimes it claims I did things wrong when I clearly didn't, sometimes though it's a stupid mistake and then I'm SO angry with myself when I've just waited 40 minutes or more only to immediately mess it up! This afternoon the first thing I did after one of these waits was go to pick something up and accidentally click my wand and ruin it :wall:

Totally loving duelling though! I only started this afternoon but must've done it a few dozen times already :shuffle: I'm only playing Petrificus Totalus though. Best score is 144.

I've clicked the wand accidentally too once. Not fun. I suggest you invest in the copper cauldron, somewhat faster but still annoying when you make a mistake or even more so when you don't and it unjustly accuses you of it. Perhaps, it's Snape's influence.

I read that there will be new background info etc. in the near future.

Good, I hope that means the rest of the books are coming because I am getting bored. I am relatively good at potions, suck at dueling, have read the new content.
