Are any of these people from here?

CrimsonMist71
FireboltJinx25377
StarRiver31216

Thanks!

How about MarauderAvis23020?

The names are not on my list (I made a list of all the names I found on this thread).

Wooohoooooooooo! I got Ravenclaw, the house I've always particularly admired. :) Also, "stunning views" from the Common Room.

Welcome to the club!!! :cheer2:

Here are some updated numbers:

9: Ravenclaw
6: Hufflepuff, Slytherin
5: Gryffindor
4: None

Also, I won both my duels. :encore:

Congrats, galaxygirl! And thank you, love Ravenclaw.

Anyone have an idea why so many Ravenclaws?

Maybe COP attracts Ravenclaws? I wonder if it would have been different under 6.0?

the people that are likely to spend time playing fantasy games on the internet are nerdy, brainy types?
same goes for spending time analyzing figure skating on a forum.

Great answer. Hair splitting has to be FSU's favorite sport. :P

My user name is AsphodelMugwump61.

Thanks for the snake fangs. Will ponder what to give you in return.

As pointed out upthread, there doesn't seem to be PM abilities there - is this part of the child protection thing, no direct messaging and not picking the username, I wonder?

I'm WolfsbaneOwl25. I'm in Ravenclaw and my wand is cypress with a phoenix feather core.

I know that's their reasoning for not letting you pick a username, but I kind of like that in its own way. Kinda makes us all equally anonymous in the same magical world. :)

Currently brewing Sleeping Draught after buying a new cauldron. I should've splurged and bought a faster one, this one is scheduled to take 70 minutes and I'm terrified that I'll miss it so I'm afraid to go do other things :drama:

Totally failing making a potion. I've always hated lab. :drama: In fact, I've set records for the amount of broken glassware back in the day.

It is very smart of them to create such long brew times ... it'll keep users forever on the site waiting for their potions to finish ;)

Lol, IA, aren't you a double doctoral student? That would make sense!

I haven't blown up anything in potions yet.. perhaps my chemistry experience is helping.

 No, just one doctorate. I've done research but it was CLINICAL. As soon as there was any lab work that had to be done, I'd hand it over to the lab people and :scream:.

You must be one of those infuriating people who whip stuff up in a blink of an eye and leave with all of us poor klutzes struggling for hours in the lab. :P

I just noticed agalisgv's list of users. Unfamiliar to me.

Don't try to duel with a dog sleeping on your laptop. FYI.

I suck at potions, too, IA. I also never did like chem lab, though I did enjoy the lecture.

My son went and bought another cauldron without my knowing it, so if you ever have need of one, let me know :)

So I just did 3 duels
1. I lost
2. I won
3. It was a draw so neither of us received any points
I think I'll stick with potions :)
