Pretty sure she had a baby recently so maybe she's taking some time off.

Almost all elite skaters also coach on the side, even while competing, don't they?

Elisabeth is in the video, the woman with glasses, jerod is missing from the video. The name Swallow was probably used by the original poster as it is her last name as well as she and jerod are married.

Oh, I thought this thread might mean that Scali had taken on a full time coaching job. Maybe it's a part time thing then. :)

Update on Massimo Scali coaching at the Detroit SC (brief excerpt from 8/19 Icenetwork article - link below):

With so many skaters at the rink and two young children at home, Camerlengo and Krylova rely heavily on Scali's support. The Italian -- who won world bronze with partner Federica Faiella in 2010 -- had hoped to return to competition this season, but those plans have been postponed indefinitely.

"Federica is still suffering from the hip injury she received in April, and besides, I am enjoying coaching very much," Scali said.
This article also includes updates on some the Detroit SC-based ice dancers (quotes from Péchalat/Bourzat and Weaver/Poje): http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20110819&content_id=23430386&vkey=ice_news

:( about Federica and F&S. I was looking forward to seeing them compete again but get the feeling they are done; at least as Olympic eligible competitiors. Poor Fede seems to have suffered a string of injuries and illnesses. Even if she doesn't compete again I hope she is able to regain her health.
