I hope they announce the cast soon -- I don't want to buy tickets without knowing who's skating. If Ricky's going, I'm so there! :)

I'm hoping to go this year as I missed last year's. I really enjoyed the two prior years' shows. Did the price of the on-ice tickets go up? I had on-ice tickets before and I don't remember paying $50 for them, but who knows.

Maybe we could arrange an FSU meet-up if enough of us decide to attend.

I wish they do a way with the on-ice seats or limited to maybe just 1 row. It can't be that comfortable for the skaters to perform with that arrangement.

I met up with some fellow FSU-ers there one year, though I had to chase them around the building to get hold of them.

What was it like previous years? I'm seriously considering going, it's accessible to me (for once)

No worries, as there should be a few other skaters left to choose from and invite. ;)

thanks for the links, I think I will wait for the cast announcement before committing one way or another but I'm thinking more likely than not I will try to make it.

For the people who took photos, what camera and/or lens did you use? Would love to try to get some pics of my own if I go.

Seems like there was a M&G as well? some people talked about conversing with a few skaters.

I've been several times over the past 10 years. It usually features Michael's current and former tour mates from SOI and COI, plus a few East Coast senior elites , the junior champions and up and comers. It lasts approximate 1.5 to 2 hours. The last time I went it featured Brian B., Illia Kulik, Todd, Dan Hollander, Stephen Cousins, Emily Hughes, Angela Maxwell, Kristine Musedemba, the Kerrs, Ina and Zimmerman? and some more skaters.

It is a small venue so you get to see the action up close and is not expensive compared to the tours.

I don't recommend sitting on the ice. I remember a few years ago Todd did a 3A and lost control on the landing and almost went head first into the chairs. Another year Jennifer Robinson's 3L takeoff almost landed in someone's lap. Plus I would think your feet would get cold, and it is not a large arena anyway.

Thanks for the advice. It looks from the seating chart that regular seats are behind the hockey glass, though- so I dunno. Seems like a small setup. Sounds like you're REALLY close with the on-ice seating if skaters are falling into your lap!
