I'd vote for David Usher but he's not on the poll. His mom is Thai...

I've never heard of her before! I wiki'ed her and it looks like while she's done really well in other markets of the world, it appears none of her CD's have been released in North America. Maybe she's just not pretty enough. ;)Actually- her "Snow on the Sahara" album was released in the USA and had moderate sales. But the title song WAS the first single from an artist from Asia to chart on the billboard charts.

Yeah, she was just too ugly for NA markets. :D

Nicole Scherzinger is Filippino/native Hawaiian/Russian.

I think there might be more pop singers of Asian heritage than we are aware of...I'm not sure if this is still true (I hope it's not), but many non-caucasians in the US entertainment industry glossed over their ethnicity.

And please, keep that Anggun creature out of the US...I reaaaally don't want my husband to see her. :D

Van Halen all the way. I have their songs on my ipod. Love listening to those old tunes.

Are you Canadian by any chance? ;)

No Shonen Knife?:D

Nice one! But their wikipedia discography entry doesn't give any chart listings, so I'm guessing they are very much a fringe band, with little (or no?) chart or sales success??

Or...apl.de.ap from The Black Eyed Peas?

I thought I had read that he had some Fillipino heritage, but wikipedia doesn't mention this at all, so I wasn't sure....thought I could be mistaken.
