Thank you sooooooo much for sharing all the photos, videos, reports etc. Every time I see Stephane skate he bring me to tears. The Rachmaninow program is sooooo great, I cried through the whole program. He´s the god on the ice! A great gift for the skating world IMO! Also enjoyed Irina, Shen/Zhao... Great show! I wished that a show like this could take place in Europe! I would be there!

Original photo rink is here (http://yunakim.com/UserFiles/Image/201108161313472721.jpg).

And Yuna posted what she'd received from fans (http://yunakim.com/UserFiles/Image/201108161313472669.jpg) and thanked them all.

Episodes after the show at the parking lot

Kurt ran here and there to say thank fans there and guards were frightened. - They couldn't find how to calm down the 45 yo skater.
David Wilson also ran here and there and he hugged a women fan. Guards were scared.
Shae showed WAKA WAKA a bit.
Patric and Kurt made a big heart shape out of their hands overhead.
Patric and Kiira bowed politely in front of fans.
Stephane thanked and handed out picture cards of himself with his autograph. (I missed it by a whisker! :wuzrobbed)
Yuna thanked and bowed to fans all around for a while. :swoon:
Flash mobs were performed and ppl there enjoyed it very much and so did Yuna.

Hilarious report RunnersHigh, thank you. It is wonderful to see the skater are just as excited (if not more!!) than the crowds! And hmm...what exactly is WAKA WAKA? Sound sa*sy... just because it is from Shae :P

Final Q, what were the flash mob performing on?

I love the skaters. Everyone of them :)

Act II
Shae-Lynn Bourne Waka Waka (Shakira featuring by Freshlyground).

Shae performed some part of it off the ice. ;)

Final Q, what were the flash mob performing on?
Fans sang a song edited for her in chorus. May someone post it Youtube sooner or later. :D

I think Stephane is a god. The positions he gets are exquisite.
Indeed. And he can skate to just about any type of music and look completely authentic and expressive. Those two performances just proved my point :rollin:

I think his skating has been evolving in some new direction lately, it has become more restraint and intellectual, with greater focus on complex detail and building artistic vision than skating all in flowing emotions like before, this is reflected in simpler costumes and reducing everything that distracts from the music. His programs were so different from everybody else, deep and detached.
[snip]
I'm grateful for what he brings and he does his own thing. He could easily just dance around and make everybody happy.
I loved what you said about Stephane and I totally agree. I also see his skating as becoming more intellectual than just purely melody and rhythm driven, although it's still massively musical. All in all, I think he's really taking the performance aspect of figure skating to a new level. And I also love how he's doing it his own way. I don't think there's any skater that skates with more freedom or is more expressive out there on the ice. I'm so glad there's a someone like him.

With everything said, I think Korean fans should really thank Yuna, if not for her medals then for her popularity which is making Korea literally the figure skating heaven nowadays. Unbelievable casting every year, multiple times!!
