So... Skate Canada is only a couple of weeks away, and no change in the roster for Canadian host picks Desanctis and Balde who didn't reach the minimum score. Should we assume that the minimum score requirement has been scrapped for host picks?

Has anyone ever been able to figure out what happened to Myriane Samson? Maybe it was finally addressed somewhere but I haven't seen it.

Skate Canada confirmed that Samson is competing this year, but apparently not on the Grand Prix, or she would have been in line to replace Laura Lepisto at TEB.

Monko Khaliavin are out of Cup of China.

What rotten luck for these 2.

Ralph Hill?

oh no, this really :kickass:

i was so excited to see those two, hope the rest will help them and they come back strong at nationals.
without any appearance before nationals, i cannot imagine them to be any threat for i/k b/s or r/t for euros and worlds tickets :(

M/K have been replaced by Tobias/Stagniunas for Skate America as well.

Since Lichtman/Copely, who are first on the list for a second assignment, are already assigned to CoC, the Chinese Fed should choose among the top three of the Top 75:

Kriengkrairut/Giulietti-Schmitt (have NHK the next week)
Zahorski/Miart (TEB)
Gorshkova/Butikov (TEB)

Ralph/Hill are in the third group of Top 75. (Second group is Coomes/Bukcland, Yu/Wang, Cannuscio/McManus.)

Kriengkrairut/Giulietti-Schmitt are currently scheduled for Ice Challange, Graz, (1 - 6 Nov.) but I assume they would pull out of that if assigned to CoC?

kwanfan1818, I want to thank you for your explanations and lists in this discussion. Even though I still haven't reconciled all the bits of information, it's greatly appreciated.

So... with Lysacek out of the GP... replaced at SA by Razzano... who gets the open spot at TEB?

All the men who are competing this season and did not already have to pull out of GP (Liebers, SA) in the top 24 SB already have two, so it's up to the French Fed to choose one of the top three of the Top 75 w/o two. These are:

Daisuke Murakami (SA)
Jinlin Guan (CoC)
Anton Kovalevski -- reports that he retired, and reports that he didn't (none)

or

Tatsuki Machida (NHK the week before), if Kovalevski is out.

Next men in line are Murakami, Guan, Machida, Wu, Majorov, and Schultheiss. Of these, Machida and Schultheiss are competing the week before at NHK. None of them are competing the week after (ETA: or just refer to kwanfan who was posting at the same time as me)

What about Keegan Messing? I was shocked to see him get no international assignments this season, not even a senior B.

Keegan does get a senior B, though I was surprised he didn't get Skate America. Anyone knows why?
