Anybody watching? Pretty entertaining so far. The Latin princesses are going to eat each other alive.

Teams of 3 in the Moroccan desert. Now, they're repelling down a cliff face. It looks like lots of fun.

It's an intereting concept, but it feels kind of labored. They need to find a way to pick up the pace.

It was okay. It certainly isn't The Amazing Race, though! I'll probably watch.

Not too bad. I have it set to dvr each week - we will watch again.

I enjoyed it. They should have had to dig for their own water, and not be able to use someone elses waterhole. I'll watch again.

I hope it picks up a bit but I'll give it a few weeks try :)

Well, we're sort of obliged to watch in this house, as the host is the Nephew of Family Friends, so...:) Anyway...We liked it and then I had to stop watching due to the final task before being able to check in/pitstop thanks to me being deathly afraid of those things they had to count and since I'd really like to be able to get some sleep tonight/not wake up screaming due to a triggered by them nightmare, I shut off the TV and ran in here.

Mom did tell me the Latin Princesses went home though. Which is good, as they wouldn't have made it another eppy me thinks.

I'll check it out again next week as I think it's got promise.

Whoever the host is, he's terrible. A pale imitation of Probst and Keoghan.

I was wondering where they dug up that host; he's so bland it's painful. Hopefully the challenges sound more interesting to the teams than he did on air. But the show itself was interesting enough to get me to stay awake through it, so I'll tune in next week. I'm rooting for the blind guy and I guess the football pros aren't as fit as they thought they were.

Dave Salmone? He's pretty well known as a large cat (and other wildlife) specialist. He has done a lot of work for Animal Planet.

I didn't find him boring. I didn't pay that much attention to him and was wishing I was there. That's what a host should do. Blend into the background. I agree that the other teams using the first team's water hole was a little annoying. However, since most of them didn't seem to have a clue how to find water, it wouldn't have made for an interesting show with the remaining teams wandering around those little tents looking clueless rather than moving on to the next task.

All the teams seemed pretty clueless about desert survival. A couple of them mentioned pre-race training but I guess they didn't know the climate they were heading to in advance? If they did, wouldn't someone have researched it at least a little?

I watched and will probably continue watching. It isn't Amazing Race, but will do as a substitute for summer. I kept worrying the teams weren't shown drinking water in the desert heat and that they would all be terribly dehydrated.

I felt like the host was conciously avoiding trying to sound like Probst or Keoghan, for which I gave him props. Colby on Top Shot was such an imitation of Probst, I could have closed my eyes and sworn it was JP himself.

I was looking forward to this show. So far not bad. I'll give it a chance. Hopefully the show turns out to be good.

It is good already because clearly it is based on merit and not SOCIAL ENGINEERING AND SOCIAL JUSTICE which is so popular nowdays in TV reality contests "while Obama in the White House"....

I never know nowdays if the contestant was favored by audience or producers strictly on merit or because "it's the right thing to do to compensate for something in the past" or to send a message "we're so progressive, look we voted for an XXX type of contestant".... a ballerina in a wheelchair....

In the 3rd season of "so you think you can dance" the Judge stated right before the finale "It's nice if a Girl won this time, since we already had 2 male winners"....... Gees...... so? men need not apply this time?

Agree with those who think that EACH team should have dug up their own water.
