I heard about that. Feel really bad for him. :( He's one of my mom's favorite singers, and I like him too. I hope the tour goes well.

I'm not a fan but this is sad. He (and more so his family) have a hard row to hoe. :(

Very sad. I'm not a big Country fan, but I liked Wichita Lineman and a few others.

I liked that song as well. It's always sad to read that one of the singers I listened to as a kid is in declining health.

Sad. :( If there's one disease I wish they could cure, it's this.

What sad news.
I wish Glen, and his family, the best possible outcome in these circumstances.

Such a talented guitarist and singer. This is very sad. My mother had early onset Alzheimer's and died at 59. I lost a brother to cancer. He suffered much, but he was always still himself, even to the end. Alzheimer's takes away the person you love long before the end.

I wish him well on his tour.

For me, it's a tie between Alzheimer's and Lou Gehrig's Diseas/ALS. Both need to be eradicated off this Earth of ours. W/the one, you lose yourself, but your body is fine. In the other, your mind is fine, but trapped w/a decaying body. Both are horrific on both the person w/it and the Family having to deal w/all both bring. :(

I had such a crush on Glen back when I was a little girl thanks to my Parents adoring his music and still love hearing some of those old songs of his. He has one of those voices that you only have to hear one note sung to know who the performer is.

What sad, sad news to learn about. :( My best to him and his Family.

Me too. I feel like there's only a shell of my grandfather left now. :(

So sad. :(

That is sad news. One of my first albums (vinyl) that my Dad brought me was a Glen Campbell one (well it was one of those "more for himself" type presents) but my sisters and I played it a lot as kids. I don't like country music but I don't mind Glen Campbell.
