Will be visiting Budapest soon (if I don't drop dead in the meantime which is always possible ;)). Which authentic (Hungarian cuisine+cuisine from the surrounding regions) and not-so-expensive places can you recommend to eat out at? Advice on bars will be very welcome too ;)

C циганями и водкой..... (with gypsies and vodka) -
Boat-restaurant on Dunai river (also a bar) at Pier #2.
VENHAJO RESTAURANT - V. Belgrad rkpt. Pier 2. T. 267-0303
Has buffet options (шведский стол) for good price, if you don’t like the main menu.
Classic Hungarian food/Family owned restaurant (столовая style).
Good bar and wine selection. All sorts of Hungarian national and country food.
In Rozsadomb area, on the Buda side. 1023 Torok ulitza. 3.
Big portions, good prices, typical country dishes.
