This is actually getting ugly:
He made some comments during a stand-up act in front of a crowd of 2,000 ppl in Nashville:

Audience member Kevin Rogers took to his Facebook page to describe the scene. Rogers said Morgan joked that “women are a gift from God and that ‘Born this Way’ is bullshit. Gay is a choice.” Morgan is said to have called gay people “mistakes.” Morgan said lesbians just hate men and don’t have real attraction to women, according to Rogers’s account.
On bullying in schools, Morgan is said to have advised gays to “quit being pussies” and stop whining. Then, Rogers said, Morgan talked about killing his son.
“He said if his son ... was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death,” Rogers wrote on Facebook.
He eventually apologized, but ....
Tina Fey said she was disturbed by his rant:

"The violent imagery of Tracy's rant was disturbing to me at a time when homophobic hate crimes continue to be a life-threatening issue for the GLBT Community," Fey says.
"It also doesn't line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centered to ever hurt another person.
Fey, who is the mother of one child and is pregnant with her second, adds, "I hope for his sake that Tracy's apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian co-workers at 30 Rock, without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket."
Yet, Chris Rock is defending Tracy Morgan's Right to say 'foul and inappropriate sh-t'
Comedian-actor Chris Rock has defended the controversial comments made by fellow comic actor Tracy Morgan via Twitter, saying "I don't know about you, but I don't want to live in world where Tracy Morgan cant say foul inappropriate shit."
Wanda Sykes says it isn't free speech:

Sykes compared Morgan’s statements – which included his insistence that he would kill his own son if he were an effeminate gay man – to speech that the Supreme Court has said can be rightfully barred.
“I do believe in free speech, but for a youth in TN or any other numerous place, Tracy just yelled, ‘Fire,’ in a crowded theater,” Sykes wrote.
What do you think????
