“Yuna Kim and other world class skaters from around the world will be performing at the ‘All That Skate Summer 2011’. The show will be held at a specially prepared ice rink at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium on August 13 – 15,” said All That Sports (ATS), Kim’s management.

Kim is planning to perform ‘Homage to Korea’, which was her free skating program at the 2011 Moscow World Championships, and her exhibition number ‘Fever’.

“This year is the 66th anniversary of Independence Day (August 15). It is meaningful that she has the opportunity to skate ‘Homage to Korea’ in which ‘Arirang’ is a theme.

i am thrilled that yeonah will be skating arirang at this event--every opportunity to see this program, i'm grateful. i understand it has historical significance as well, but i am speaking just as a fan of good skating.

i'm curious to know--will she retain the full complements of triple jumps? i actually hope some of the jump passages are taken out so that other elements of choreography can highlight the beautiful music, presented as only yeonah can. i know nobody can jump like yeonah either but if it's a choice between seeing an ina bauer or triple-flip, i am going to choose the ina bauer every time--as long as it can somehow fit the music :)
