I thought the thread was going to be a response to Dan Savage's challenge to politicians who argue that sexuality is a choice.

At the end of last week's column, probably NSFW

Your flame is dim, but you've got potential. Keep up the gay work.

No, girlfriend, I'm just too old to be bothered with most of the BS any more.

Back in the day my score would have been MUCH higher.

Some of these questions are not fair! Question #1 asking if my iPOD has one of those singers in it. I don't have a freaking iPOD!

This straight little ole 61 year old lady scored a 58! Dim, yes, but with potential!

48 gay in training! I always lose gay points because I can't stand musicals or musical theatre!

Actually the issue I have with the quiz is the fact that most of the "questions" are directly lifted from the "you know you are gay when..." email that did the rounds when email jokes first started si it's a pretty lame repackaging of that email. Sorry.

At least you like Eurovision :D.

I got a 28, which surprised me since it seemed like I was answering "no" on everything.

Here, have a cocktail on me! :40beers:

I have even volunteered the power of my flame to ConEd, for use as an alternate energy source. :D

I got 28. As far as I know I'm straight, but at the rate the world keeps changing, who knows? I didn't even know there were options when I was growing up.

The test seems geated towards men though. A lot of that stuff would be normal for a straight woman.

Plus, the gay men I know are mostly scientists, they don't fall into the diva/show bizz category. They are pretty suburban middle class, the only lifestyle difference is the sex of their partner.
