Aussie Actor Bill Hunter Dies

[Aussie Willy]

Wonderful Aussie actor Bill Hunter dies. He played a lot of iconic Aussie characters and will probably be best remembered for the dad in Muriel's Wedding. But also he was in Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Strictly Ballroom. He will be sadly missed from the Australian movie scene.

Watching him fall in love with Terrance Stamp's Bernadette in "Priscilla" is so sweet and, IMHO, the crux of the entire movie.

A great, versatile actor. :(
