I think she looks pretty much the same. Thin but not unhealthy.

I wish I could see this in person. I'm sure the details of the dress up close are stunning. And of course, getting to see the tiara. What woman isn't a sucker for diamonds? :)

The part that makes her seem super thin is the fact that she has no hips whatsoever. Even when she had more weight on her, her hips weren't that much bigger than they are now. Otherwise her weight seems normal.

Kate didn't always look like that. This is from a few years ago: http://mattsuttner.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/54144851-kate_middleton.jpg <--IMO that's a much healthier and sexier look.

But her hips were still narrower than her shoulders. Another picture (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0tx5ZOfnuw8/TX-4YdoERAI/AAAAAAAAArw/99t3EhpDH5Y/s1600/Kate-Middleton-Bikini-4-435x580.jpg) from the same day.

She had more meat on her back then. Looked great.

The offical site for the dress exhibition

One thing I found kind of interesting is the copyright on the images. The tiara is the Queen's, the cake is William and Kate, and the rest of them belong to Kate herself. Understandable of course, but I kinda like the idea of the Duchess already building her own little legacy. :)

I'm enjoying the online exhibition of Queen Mary's Doll House.

http://www.royalcollection.org.uk/queenmarysdollshouse/ I've seen it in person a few times but I didn't really know who Queen Mary was back then.

Yeah, the picture of her with the Queen had me thinking "Honey, your abdomen shouldn't be concave." She's narrow-hipped, but that's not the only thing that makes her look thinner than she used to.

And I always thought I'd rather talk to Charles than Diana. I would rather discuss heritage-breed chickens than fashion shows (at least fashion shows where I don't intend to snark.)

Thanks for sharing another great link :)

I've always enjoyed miniatures and made a pilgrimage to see this one; have several good books on the house as well.

Has anyone heard or seen if HM King Harald has addressed the Norwegian People over the horrible and tragic events of today in Norway? Last I heard, the PM's done so, but HM hasn't as of yet. This (http://news.yahoo.com/norway-gunman-fired-1-5-hours-island-170527353.html) article gives a quote or two from the King and says the King and Queen (and in some articles, the Crown Prince) met up with the PM and were meeting with survivors.

Bless you for that!! This is the one thing that's on my must see list if I ever make it over to England. I've always wanted to a have a good look at it online, so thanks for that!!

Thanks for that link nerdycool.

Ugh, this weekend is turning out to be a bit of a bummer (especially when I think of those poor Norwegian kids and their families), so I sent the better-half out for soul food and ice cream and then I'm gonna watch the Cambridge wedding again............for the 1,496th time!

I still plotz so hard during that overhead shot in the Abbey when "I Was Glad" hits its climax. ;)

A Google Translation of HM King Harald's statement to the Norwegian People after the horrific events of Friday...

We have witnessed horrific acts, both in Oslo and Utøya.
Our thoughts go naturally to those affected and their relatives.
Men de går også til statsministeren, som jeg har snakket med, - til det politiske Norge.
But they also go to the Prime Minister, whom I have spoken to, - to the political Norway.

We would like to thank all those who have helped to save lives, to rescue people out of this terrible situation.

Now it is important that we stand together and support each other. The fact that we do not let fear rule, but we support each other and get us through this terrible situation that we have experienced.

Fergus, I listened to the Album. For me though, as much as I adore I Am Glad, for me the one I *really* adore is This Is The Day The Lord Made. Love, love, love that!!
