Loved Kate's red suit today. It looked great with the maple leaf brooch but she could have worn the polar bear brooch.

I think I've found a difference between Will's blue suits. One has two pockets on the right side and another one only has one.

Carmen, a lot of guys think Kate is hot. Not beautiful but hot. I think she is attractive, has great style and figure (although she has been a tiny bit too thin lately IMO) and is charming and approachable.

Comcast had a 29 slide show of her looks. Her taste is impeccable. But when you consider that the camera puts somewhere between 10-15 lbs on someone and she still looks very thin, all I can think is yikes!

81 year old Frances Miller presented Kate with her final bouquet in Canada today. In 1939, Frances was chosen to present flowers to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth but the royal train didn't stop as scheduled and Frances was left heartbroken.

TRH arrive in LA! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7r3SPfnn4k) Cathy Cambridge in cream!

As Nana Fergus would say: "That gal changes clothes more than Gypsy Rose Lee!".

100% agreed about the red outfit today, PERFECT. That shade of red reminded me alot of this. (http://cache2.asset-cache.net/xc/50363741.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=E41C9FE5C4AA0A14EA2905A9111FD3F887F27E996BC17426 9771730711BC5CD3B01E70F2B3269972)

As they were shaking hands at the Calgary airport, one of the last ladies in line, right before they got to the bouquet, gave them both a lovely little curtsy. It's the first time I've seen Kate get a curtsy! LOVED it! :swoon:

(I have a feeling IF and WHEN I meet them, I would plotz into a full-on hardcore Maggie Thatcher knee-scraping-the-floor curtsy!)

Kate's dress looks like a pale lilac/grey on my screens.

Personal note here...since departing England, Will and Kate have been flown around by the Canadian Air Force 437 "Husky" Squadron. That was my dad's squadron in WWII.

Hmmm, very structural as well. Perhaps a Roland Mouret?

I wanted to thank all of the folks that posted photos, articles and comments about William and Kate's tour of Canada. I have been throughly entertained and have not enjoyed a thread so much in a long time.

According to WhatKateWore.com, the first LA dress is by Roksanda Ilincic.

They posted upclose pix and it looks like a very light fabric, the draping and subtle pleats give it a much more structured look. :)

I watched the video of their arrival in L.A. An awful lot of security there.

Oh ParsleySage...What a wonderful honour for your Dad's former Squadron!!

I saw on one of the reports about LA today that the security is on the same level as a Presidental Visit. Also that if *anyone* gets in their way, that person or persons will be arrested tout suit!!

Good luck to the Papparazzi trying to get shots if that's indeed the case...

Pretty good rundown of the plan for LA. Doesn't say what they are doing after Sunday, maybe leaving? In the weeks leading up to this, I had read that they would stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and that they would visit Yosemite.

Now I also know my friend in Santa Barbara doesn't think she'll get anything done this weekend :)

In my endless procrastination of homework...I got sucked into the Biography channel's episode on Kate.

Seriously, who are these people and how do they know what a stranger was thinking four and five years ago? She has never publicly said how she felt about the break-up. She has never said that she expected a proposal at certain times or places and was pissed. And what makes them think that during the break-up she was manipulatively trying to show him up the entire time they were apart? Could it not be that she was just living her life?

The whole thing is framed as if she was not from a high class family, therefore, she surely had to have plotted from age ten to get him and been a manipulative shrew or he surely would have married someone from the nobility.

For those with access to BBC World News, there will be a 1/2 hour documentary at 3:30 ET this afternoon about William & Kate's 2011 CDN tour. I think it already was shown at least once and may, of course, be repeated.

Mr Lanie and I were going to go up to Santa Barbara this weekend but, uh, I think that would be a bad idea...
