Fergus, both Majesty and Royalty Monthly Magazines Special Royal Wedding issues are on news stands up here and I know you can get both magazines in the States. So if you know of a really great Magazine place, go and see if you can find either one or both.

In the RM one, there's pictures from some of the street parties that were held, but two pages of them from the Downing Street one. The one picture in that grouping that brings a smile to my face whenever I look at it, is how the Camerons spiffed up their tabby cat Larry for the occasion. They put a Union Jack bow tie on him and he looks so adorable too.

BTW...The RM is all about the Wedding for the most part, which is stunning in it's own right and has some lovely pictures in it, but the Majesty issue also has pictures from the Reception and Dinner HM Queen Elizabeth held for the Foriegn(sp) Royals the night before too. It's also not just one or two pages either, but IIRC five or six pages of pictures. There's a few where you see, for example, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden arriving at the do the night before and below that pic, is one of them heading into the Abbey for the Wedding Service.

BTW, I wish she and Sophie wore red more often. They were both looking drop dead stunning w/the dresses they wore to the Dinner do the night before. It really is for both of them, one of *their* colours.

I also noticed when looking at their listings of Royal books and Bios you can order through them that the An Invitation To A Royal Wedding book, William and Catherine edition, is among the new books available. Not sure if it's available over here in NA as of yet, but it will be at some point. So that's another thing to keep an eye out for whenever in a Bookstore the next few weeks. I have the ones for Charles and Diana, Sarah and Andrew and Sophie and Edward and they really are wonderful keepsakes to have.

Speaking of the Royal Redhead...The episode of Sarah on Oprah that was also part of promoting her upcoming series on OWN, Finding Sarah, will be repeated tomorrow for those interested. I missed it the first time, so will be tuning in. Not sure if I'll be able to restraint myself from throwing something at the TV when she whines/talks about not being invited to the Wedding though....

Oh and Fergus, seems Daisy and Henrik aren't the only Royals either coming your way or are there this week.

The Royal Chronicle ~ Crown Princess Mette-Marit at Youth Summit (http://theroyalchronicle.wordpress.com/2011/06/08/crown-princess-mette-marit-at-youth-summit/)

There's a going to be a meeting at the UN tomorrow regarding HIV and AIDS. The Crown Princess of Norway is an UN Special Ambassador for Youth and the AIDS Epidemic. I know I don't have the exact title of her Ambassador-ship right, but that's basically what her duties are.

So there's another chance for you to possibly see a Royal Fergus. :D

ARGH! Tomorrow is rather tightly scheduled, there's no way I can schlep over the UN :( .......

.......HOWEVER, what are the chances that CP M-M will be at the Danish Society's hoe-down for Daisy at the American Museum of Natural History tonight? Hmmmmmm!

Though I wanted to do my stalking at the the MOMA this morning..........Aw pickles! I'll figure something out......stay tuned! ;)

It's not looking good, folks. :(

Someone needs to tell the Danish Society that 6:30 is just far too early for a NYC soiree. :drama:

Also, it's 102 degrees out today, my suit looks like the wreck of the Hesperus. I am a baaaaaad queen. :(

Daisy, love ya, but I'll see ya in Copenhagen!

My friend went to London last month and brought me back a Catherine and Wills magnet! :biggrinbo

(I had suggested that she pick up the commemorative refrigerator but it was too large :P)

I'm sorry to hear that Fergus, as I know how much you were hoping to catch a glimspe at the very least of HM and Prince Henrik.

It's nice, pretty and delicate color, interesting details but just a tad too busy for my taste. Although, I am the one to talk who recently thought I would look good in this mess: my momentary lapse of reason (http://www.us.allsaints.com/women/jersey/tilia-dress/bitter-blk-spray/wdk213-2284). :yikes:

:yikes: is right. That is really bad in so many ways. Please tell us you only *thought* you'd look good in that and didn't go through w/it?

:yikes: is right. That is really bad in so many ways. Please tell us you only *thought* you'd look good in that and didn't go through w/it? I ended up spending 10 minutes trying to figure out how to put it on--it's a mess of draping and ruching and gave up. I usually go for clean, streamlined look which is why I am such a fan of Kate's style, but decided to try something different. Um, yeah. Mistake.

Why is this such a big test for Kate? What exactly is she supposed to be doing?

Also, are they moving to Kensington permanently or will they be back in Anglesey for William's job?

Kensington will be their London base whenever they have to be in London for whatever reason. They'll still be spending the majority of their time in Anglesey the next couple of years.

The reason why this weekend is so big is because of what's going on. These are Major Events on the Royal Calendar at the best of times, but w/it also being Phillip's 90th Birthday, who knows what members of the European Royals will be in London for it. The Greeks will be there for sure, as Phillip was born a Prince of Greece. Catherine will need to know the various protocol proceedures for that at the very least.

I'm so looking forward to the Balcony on Saturday. It's the only time the entire extended Royal Family appears on it these days. Last year, little Eloise Taylor, Granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, stole the show as she was acting up a wee bit. She even gave Eugenie a bit of a shove to get the front IIRC. :D

 I can't believe you've just mentioned calendars (albeit a different type of calendar) - I've just seen there is already the official 2012 Royal Wedding calendar for sale in shops
