Mao's interview in Hungarian: http://www.moksz.hu/moksz-h-frameset.htm (click on the A világbajnok magyar segítséggel szeretne ismét felérni a csúcsra)

Apparently, she came to Budapest to work with the choreographer Zoltán Nagy.
A summary/rough translation of the Hungarian interview is posted here:

Suguri participated a local competition (Kanagawa FS championships) in late May. Here's the protocol (http://www.jsfresults.com/local/2011-2012/fs/14/04_ijs/data0205.pdf)(1st place)...

This is becoming increasingly sad and desperate as the time goes on.... :yikes:

When I read IN I see that Fumie tweets a lot but it is in Japanese. Unfortuantley I do not speak the language so I don't know what is happening with her.

It really is. Makes me sad as I used to love her skating. :(

I don't normally say this, but I wish she'd just move on. She has a degree (Sociology, I think?) so it's not like she can't get a job. If she wants to stay involved in skating, she could get a coaching certificate, and skating shows are alive and well in Japan. I just feel like the universe is telling her it's over but she doesn't want to hear it.

Not pretty. No triple jumps landed and PCS mostly in 5s. :(

JSF director Ito's comment. The next coach is not decided yet.

NMURA, in your Japanese Teams 2012-2013 post, does "(N)" indicate a Novice level skater or something else? Thanks for posting the info, BTW.

I don't think she is going to look for a new coach any time soon, cause i doubt she want's to leave japan!

I agree.. she could definately do shows, or move into coaching if she wants to still be involved in skating. As it is, she would be better suited to adult comps if she wants to compete...

Sorry for my ignorance but who is Zoltan Nagy? Is he a former skater?

http://www.opera.hu/hu/tarsulat/szemely/Nagy_Zoltan

No English page available, but it seems he has coached Regőczi-Sallay and Torville-Dean teams, as well as numerous ballet dancers, inc. Rudolf Nureyev!?
