Russian movies:
Luna Papa - the family of a preganant teen tries to track down the father. As told by the unborn child.
Barber of Siberia - Two men vie for the affections of a young America woman and one of them is a young count Tolstoi.
Azazel - based on the book The Winter Queen by Boris Akunin about a detective in pre-revolutionary Russia.
Russian Ark - an artsy movie film all at once in the famous Hermitage Museum.
Night Watch - based on the book of the same name by Sergei Lukyanenko about the forces of good v evil.
The Italian - a young boy about to be adopted by an Italian couple runs away to find his real mother.
The Island - a priest has a terrible secret dating back to WW2 for which he is constantly trying to repent from.
Hard to be a God - about a bunch of humans living and observing life on another planet where civilization is still in the middle ages.
The Master and Margarita - adaptation of the novel of the same name and very controversial in Russia and was made in 1994 but only release this year.

Hm. Addiction isn't good, but I don't see how exercise and gaming are strange examples of that degree and kind of dependency.
