I kick myself for not including Heroes, a 1978 film starring Henry Winkler and Sally Field (with Harrison Ford in a minor role) in post #661.

I wonder why some people are horrified by this? Just cultural taboo?

Speaking only for myself Kwanita, it's not genuine horror, but rather my Miss Rhinestone's unsophisticated palette, which stopped accepting new additions during the first Reagan administration. That dish just doesn't look very appetizing.

For others, cultural taboo may be part of it, along with the assumption (informed by...re-runs of Mr. Ed?) that horses are smarter than cows and pigs, which for all I know could be false.
