^^Although slim and capable, Ashley is exceptionally tall for a pair girl, which might make the twist, and perhaps other elements, more difficult. Considering the relative scarcity of six foot plus U.S. pair men who can jump triples and do expert pair moves, finding another partner might be a challenge. Or do you have one in mind?

My main complaint about Josh Regan is that he has one facial expression throughout every program: concentration on whatever he's doing at the moment. He is never "in" the performance himself, he just leaves all that to Ashley, who fortunately is a marvelous performer. But it takes two to deliver a complete performance, and only one of this pair is committed to that.

Then he should take acting lessons. It did wonders for Kaitlyn Weaver & Andrew Poje. In fact, if he's in college, he probably can even get college credit for doing so.

Not a reason for getting rid of a guy who can both jump and lift. Frankly, there aren't that many of them out there.

Yes, Evora and Barrett are now broken up.

:( They'd been together for a number of years and were engaged. . . how sad. Hope both are OK.

Totally bummed about this. They were a cute couple. I met Amanda's family at SA a few years ago and they are sweet, sweet people.

Can't think of anyone off the top of my head. I think if AJ Reiss could improve his jumps, he could be a good fit for her. He did a 3lztw with Brynn Carmen, I don't see why he wouldn't be able to do one with Ashley Cain. His lifts are really great for a junior as well.

I actually think AJ is with the right girl, Jessica Pfund. They are going to be a long term team and with the short time they have been together have made alot of progress. I'm looking forward to watching them continue the progression next season. AJ is a great lifter and he and Jessica will have a nice triple twist, they just need more time.

2 Novice pair skaters from 2012 Nationals currently are listed on icepartnersearch - Chad Phillips (7th with Hannah Klopstock) and Lianna Thomas (12th with Gene Fu; she actually was listed before Nationals).

Considering that Nationals was only Jessica Pfund/AJ Reiss' second competition together (and her second pairs comp. ever!), they did VERY well! I'm looking forward to seeing them develop as a team.

Lianna has had her profile on IcePartnerSearch since before she teamed up with Gene; she did update it though after Nationals.

I'm not surprised especially with Thomas/Fu. Oh the flashbacks to the end of that SP. :yikes:

Alexa Scimeca is the first Senior pair skater from 2012 Nationals to be listed on icepartnersearch.com -- she placed 10th with Ivan Dimitrov and they skated a good SP (8th place) landing sbs 3S and a big throw 3F.

That was one rough LP they had though. Yikes.

Congratulations to Denney/Coughlin (silver) and Marley/Brubaker (bronze) at Four Continents! This should move them both into the ISU World Standings top 20 (they were in the 30s before).

ETA ISU World Standings rankings update:
Marley/Brubaker 818 points (#31 before 4CC) + 680 (3rd at 4CC) = 1,498 (#20)
Denney/Coughlin 757 points (#34 before 4CC) + 756 (2nd at 4CC) = 1,513 (#19)
Evora/Ladwig are still the top US pair with 2,162 points (#14).

In the ISU Season Best scores list, Denney/Coughlin (185.42 at 4CC) have moved up to #6 and Marley/Brubaker (178.89 at 4CC) to #8. Evora/Ladwig are #13 (170.63 at Cup of China).
