I have someone here who I supervise and don't have a lot of work for them at the moment. But she probably needs to practise on Excel as her skills are very limited. She is employed to answer the phone but it is a matter of finding stuff for her to do whilst the phone isn't ringing.

Anyway I was wondering if there were any practical Excel online tutorials that could take her through exercises to practise aspects of Excel. It can't be video links because we have limited video access (Youtube is banned). But more something to give her hands on experience.

Your help would be appreciated.

I would also like to do this. I know very little about excel and I may need to in order to get a job. Most jobs I see on Craigslist specifically mention having some knowledge of excel.

Microsoft has online training by version:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/excel-help-and-how-to-FX101814052.aspx?CTT=97

www.lynda.com is a really good (an extensive) online training/tutorial site, but it requires a paid subscription. ($25/month) The advantage is that you have access to everything on the site for the month and they offer modules for a wide variety of computer-related topics. They'll even teach you how to use the software for ancestry dot com.
