THE JGP SKATE OUTS ARE "primarily" ONLY FOR SINGLE SKATERS !!! This is the official wording of the DEU.

I've heard the of the dance spots ... Dieck / Zenkner and Koch / Nuechtern will get 2 each, the Australia spot will not be used (too expensive) and that all Junior Dance Team will have a skate off for the last remaining spot.

Just bumping up this thread again...

From the JGP Announcement:

Entries by names of Competitors and Judges must be made through the Members simultaneously to the Organizing Committees concerned, the ISU Secretariat, the Chair of the Sports Directorate and the ISU Event Coordinator not less than 31 days before the first draw of the respective individual event. Each Member must also announce the official substitute entries (Competitors and Judges) in each discipline (see also the individual announcements).
Usually the full roster will be published on the ISU site about 4 weeks before each event.

The dates of the 1st JGP in Riga, Latvia, are August 31-Sept. 4, 2011, so we can expect to see the preliminary roster published online sometime in early August.

Sylvia do you have who's registered for Lake Placid and Indy Challenge?
Do you have access to the Kiss and Cry forum? There are event info/discussion threads for both competitions in there. Indy Challenge has not yet published their pairs entries online yet (only entry numbers per event), and I've compiled an unofficial, partial entry list of registered Senior/Junior dance teams for Lake Placid (official roster/groups are not published online yet and I know ice-dance.com will have a comprehensive LPIDC site up soon).

ETA: Poland's Ola Kamieniecki mentioned in a recent interview that she is looking forward to competing in the JGPs in Riga (#1) and Gdansk (#3) -- see this post in the Polish Skating news thread: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3227827&postcount=94

I'm thinking Sui/Han will go fully senior for 2011-12 because she will be 15 years old (http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00012227.htm) (according to ISU bio) by July 1, so they can do senior ISU Championships in 2011-12. They've already won the Jr. World title twice and medaled at the senior GP final.
Posted on July 1 in the 2011-12 Grand Prix thread:

Regarding all the concerns that Sui-Han got only 1 GP assignment.

I heard that they could get 2 but the CHN Federation wanted only one Senior GP for them as they also plan to participate in Junior GP.

I thought I would repost the following hearsay information from the "2011/12 ISU International Competition Schedule" thread:

[July 10] Rumor has it that [Canada's Liam] Firus is headed to Australia for his first JGP. (This came to me through a couple of kids so take that for what it is worth :))

In the link sammyf posted it also says that it is recommended that she reduces her daily training hours because of injury status. :( I hope she can compete this season!
