Ok I'm crazy but I do love the music. I hate what he does to it, but the music in itself is one I like. In what show was that in ? I can't remember :P

I like the music too but you got to hire a modern choreographer and go for it. He is going to focus on the jumps and he knows that he`ll get a huge standing ovation in Nice if he skates clean.

I think the program could work with a ghostbuster outfit.

Joubert

Sounds like a lot of people's music horizons end at Adele and whatever other crock of shit is popular at the moment. :P

Justice make amazing music.

Which doesn't change the fact that Joubert needs to retire ASAP because there is no way he's ever getting back to World podium or getting anywhere near close the Olympic one.

Your time's up, bye bye.

Ilynikh/Katsalapov

I don't understand what everybody means by fake music. Their FD music is Ave Maria and all the "drama" might work well in bringing attention to them but doesn't manage to hide that fact. ;P

Riazanova/Tkachenko

Petukhov (him and not Gorshkov is responsible for the programs) did not recycle Domnina/Shabalin's program for them. They chose the SD music themselves. They liked it and wanted to skate to it.

Well I guess you could say, at least he's not using an old war horse piece of music :P I could soo pass on hearing that music ever again:blah: its not too late to change his music choice is it?........

at any rate, I wish him the best of luck this season

Does anyone have a link to P/B's programs at Epinal?

Brian's SP makes me    :D

well, although I feel both the music and the choreo are so weird.David Wilson did a good job for him.Brian can't handle too complex pro (last year's flamenco is a disaster :yikes: ) and this one, like Rise,is Brian's classical style——no meaning,no dance,no skate to music, just concern on the elements and show his pure charming-like Plushenko after 2006 :P

They wrote on their FB that they didn't want it shown because they want to debut it at the Masters. Except I think they're doing Ondrej Nepala first, so I'm not sure how that will work out.

That program makes me think of a video game, from the music he uses to his skating.

Yes. They are indeed superstars - look forward to seeing the program evolve and skated to perfection.

I get a kick out of the opening (when watched without music) - first it look's like Sorcerer's Appentice, then it looks like Firebird....

Maybe I was expecting too much after all the hype, plus it's early in the season so who knows, but Volosozhar looks very wooden and less fluid in her stroking. I want to say he makes her look sloopy  It doesn't help her costume is an eyesore either :scream:

Interesting! First the opening looked like Anissina & Peizerat's 'Liberta' (except genders reversed) then Valova & Vasiliev's 'Sharule'. In general the choreography looks very nice for so early in the season, and it says they want to add more. I liked the fact that they want a seduction section in the middle - it needs a little more actual seducing and I'd like the stop to last a bit shorter. LOVE the idea of the back to back spiral, just needs better line. I also don't like that the program is ending in the corner of the rink, they somehow need to end up closer to the middle of the ice and create more time after that pairs spin to make the ending a lot more dramatik. Still, excellent potential, perfect vehicle, I have great hopes :respec:
