I think P/B's FD choice is original and exciting. ;)

Also, I don't know if this is a new info or not, but I/K got their choreographer in the divorce Ludmila Vlasova now works with Nikolai Morozov, while Oleg Volkov is still with Zhulin.
Interesting.
Wonder what happened there.

Do we know Z&G's music yet?
I expect at least them to come up with something interesting.
We might, if we knew what an earth the z/g stand for. Is it Zagorodnuik?

German ice dance champions Nelli Zhiganshina and Alexander Gazsi, 11th at Worlds, went to Sofia to work with former World champion Maxim Staviski. They will skate their short dance to a new version of the classy “Rumba d’Amour” and the free dance is to the soundtrack of “Romeo and Juliet.”

They are doing an Egyptian theme. Not sure how that is an original theme in figure skating.

More ca-2005 voidiness from P/B. I can imagine gimmicky costumes for this one...snakes coming out of sleeves...fake-nude tops. :P

Egyptian hasn't been done for a few years. Well, I guess if you don't count Miki Ando.

Yeah. Those programs weren't really Egyptian to me anyway. :P

:lol:Cynthia's was Asterix & Obelix Egyptian..and Miki's was simply awful.
But we don't know if they're using real Egyptian music , or just Egyptian themed music,if they'll try to emulate Egyptian dance ( not easily translatable onto ice ), or something theatrically Egyptian...politically Egyptian ( some sort of "tribute" to Tahrir Square )...
Depending on which way they go , I might need considerable fortification.;)

well...I don't remember cynthia's but I liked miki's program...maybe not the most convincing cleopatra but she skated it really well in turin and I liked it very much...

Maybe they'll develop a signature move..... Nathalie could jump into Fabian's arm and they could name it an "Arab Spring". ;)
