I'd love to see a different style on B/S.

I just realized I've never seen "La Strada" and need to put in on my DVD request list.

Well at least the music is livelier.

I'm too lazy to go through 17 pages so will just ask: If D&W have released their music has anyone else from Canton? In particular Shibs and V&M?

:scream::scream::scream: I bet it's I&K, we know what an original Morozov is. Ugh.

The movie is sooooo different from the happy clappy interpretation given by most skaters.

"On the Floor" :scream:

I am super excited about P/B's FD though. They never cease to surprise and entertain. :)
I think it's a very poor choice for D/W. It requires playfulness, lightness, etc. Everything Meryl lacks.

Well, P/B never started to entertain, so they couldn't really cease that, now could they?

 What?? Her playful, light quality is why the Bollywood OD was a major success. She's got a great elvish, mischievous quality to her such that whenever a program takes advantage of it, the programs work really well for them.

I wouldn't be so sarcastic but I have to say that while I truly appreciate P/B's technique, lines and maturity in ice dancing, I never want to rewatch any of their performances just for the pure pleasure of it whereas V/M...they always mesmerized me no matter the programs they came up with.

Second this. Their exhibition last year was also playful and light...and we loved it. Well, some of us, anyway.

I can confirm Amanda & Mark's music choices after speaking to Jim Peterson today in Indy. He said that the music for their LP is the same but the program is completely different. They felt like that this was one music choice that they never really skated up to and wanted to skate to it again and see if they could do it justice. He seemed really enthusiastic about it and said that they were doing very well. They'll skate their SP for the first time at that CA fundraiser show in LA next month. :)

Thanks, Heather!
