We will watch it with sadness in our hearts - we saw her launch at the Space Center in the 1990's.

I hate that the Shuttle Program is coming to an end. :(

I've been hearing this is the last shuttle launch. What does that mean? We are no longer going into space? Is that wise? Are we going to rely on unmanned satellites and such?

It's the second last. The last is scheduled for June 28th. The USA and Canada (CSA is partnered with NASA) will still continue to send astronauts to the International Space Station but they'll hitch rides with Russia.

NASA's next generation space craft won't be ready for at least another 15 or 20 years.

Per NASA, the possibility of Monday is off the table. No new date announced.
