The best internet options for watching Worlds appear to be:

Universal Sports (9.95$) or Ice Network (4.95$ charged on top of the Season Pass) in the US (and Canada, I assume?).

ISU Web TV in the countries listed in the other thread (Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, South Africa and loads of other countries, where figure skating isn't present - doesn't include US or the EBU countries).

In Sweden, you can watch SVT, which shows everything (other than Preliminary Rounds, sadly) but it most likely is going to be geo-blocked for anybody outside of Sweden (that was the case during Europeans).

What are the options for European fans then? And I am talking about comprehensive coverage and not internet broadcasts of tv channels, showing only small parts of the events.

Unless there is something I'm not aware of (if there is, please let us know!), I guess the best option is going to be tvteka.tv? It includes a very big selection of Russian channels (as well as Russian Eurosport) and costs 10$ for a monthly subscription.

Anybody knows details of Russian coverage? If you do, please share.

I just had a look on the websites of the channels I know and Russia 1 and Russia 2 (and its related channels) aren't showing any Worlds.

So I assume that NTV has the rights? I just had a look on the NTV website but it's only showing the schedule until Sunday, 24th April (today). :/

Weird, when I checked the Russia 2 schedule, I couldn't find any skating on it. Maybe I looked on the wrong days...

Thanks for proving me wrong on this one, guys. :)

I don't mind paying for tvteka, I'll definitely want to watch Worlds in the best quality I can. However, I would like to be able to resize the stream box, as I'll want to make notes at the same time and rutelevision or WebTV might be better for that. Hmm...

The Preliminary Rounds are humiliating and an unnecessary strain for the athletes (Kozuka and Brezina are medal contenders - it's extremely unfair they have to perform one more round than their rivals) and they also mean that we don't get the chance to watch obscure skaters any more. :(

I see that Ice Network isn't showing the preliminary rounds, SVT isn't either. Don't know about Universal Sports because all I can see is "the event you're trying to watch is geo-blocked in your area."

But if they're not showing it, there isn't going to be a record of the Preliminary Round performances anywhere (and video recording is not allowed in the arena, obviously). F*** ISU.

tvteka has the best quality and you can adjust the players size as well as record the stream.

Yep, the quality is by far superior. I'd just like to be able to have it in a pop-up box that I can adjust to will, so that I can put a text editor box next to it. ;)

Totally agree with you, these athletes have spent large amounts of $$$ to get to worlds and are not given the same rights as the others to show there skills. I am sure thattheir contry and supporters would like to see the represented on a world platform !!!!!

Thanks a lot, HW. :)

So it looks like the only task for us Euro fans is now to try to find full coverage of Ladies FS.

Russia 2 coverage is starting at 13:55 GMT+1 and might be delayed if the football is.

Eurosport is going to start from 13:00 but the event starts at 11:30.

I checked Rai Sport 1 and 2 schedule but found nothing.

ZDF Infokanal is showing the entire Ladies Free. It's has a web stream but only for select programs so I haven't been able to check whether it's accessible outside of Germany. Could anybody confirm?

As for the Preliminary Rounds, it's depressing that even ISU itself isn't showing them! :/

I think that everyone should start writing to their broadcasters demanding them to be shown, otherwise it's never going to happen. I mean especially if we're talking about services like the ISU one, they have the rights, there's no commentary so hardly any extra costs associated with showing the Preliminary Rounds. But specialised broadcasters like Ice Network really should step up to the plate here too.

Most videos can be watched abroad but if there is an issue with rights they check the IP.

What about that Turkish Channel TRT? I tried to find something but haven't been able to as my Turkish is nonexistent.

TRT3 is showing some of Worlds, but not live. They are showing taped broadcasts in the middle of the night. :(

Can someone share the live feed link from eurosport?
Preferably the Brit one, although I'm not sure if they're showing the whole competition or just the final groups.

British Eurosport is showing the Men's as highlights this evening, none of it will be live.
