Happy April Fool's Day from the ultimate April Fool's Day prank, played by yours truly in 1956! Today I learned that:
- Peggy Fleming is pregnant
- Speedy is abdicating and designating Plushy as his successor
- Dick Button is replacing Carrie Ann Inaba on "Dancing with the Stars"
- Johnny Weir just got engaged to Jutta Mueller
- Irina Slutskaya has joined the LPGA
- Michelle Kwan is going to be a bridesmaid at Prince William's wedding
- Jeremy Abbott has just signed with the Detroit Red Wings
- Scott Hamilton is the new voice of the Aflac duck
- Meryl Davis and Charlie White are going to skate for India from now on
- Christine Brennan just passed her senior pairs test (skating as the man)
- 2017 Worlds just got awarded to Antarctica
- The toe loop jump has just been outlawed from eligible competition
- Coaches will now be required to replace any skater injured or taken ill during competitions, especially the GPF.
- ALL GP events from now on will take place at the Harvard University rink and will be judged exclusively by Paul Wylie and Emily Hughes
- Best of all, snoopysnake is favored to win the Ladies' Gold at the upcoming Worlds!
