Maybe all of you already noted, but the actress who plays Payson must have taken ballet classes at some point: she can do the splits, has good hamstring flexibility, and in the penultimate episode - I think it was the penultimate - she did a couple of fouettes.

Ayla Kell is, what, almost 22? Or almost 23. And she's been dancing since she was 4. She competed internationally as a ballerina, IIRC. She danced with some kids I knew from high school.

Thanks! - Given that, her fouettes could have been better.

 Aside from the fact that she probably doesn't get much training time these days as an actress, to some turns come natural and to others they don't. Just because she competed and has had years of training doesn't mean she's excelling in every move/step.
And she was turning bare-footed, I think. Which provides a different resistance than when you turn in ballet slippers on a dance floor. I can do quad turns in class, I usually struggle with triples and opt for doubles if I have to dance bare-footed.

I didn't mean to bash or insult. I really just said what I thought, next time I'll be more careful doing that.

Didn't think you were doing either, bash or insult. I assumed you were stating what you thought, that, however, gave me the impression you weren't entirely aware of everything that could influence a dance move, so I wanted to point that out. :)
